The Magis Society

The Magis Society is a special circle of Prep family and friends who have included the school in their estate planning. This group, aptly named for a central Ignatian principle reflects a desire to do 'more' or 'greater' things on behalf of others. And these individuals want that pursuit of the magis to continue long after they themselves have finished their own quest.

Members of the Magis Society recognize that making a bequest to the Prep continues the distinctive relationship they have established with our community in a way that supports our Ignatian tradition of excellence beyond their lifetimes. They know that making a bequest guarantees that the Prep community will continue to experience their positive influence for generations to come. They want their memory to be connected in a special way to the Prep tradition and legacy.

An Invitation to Join the Magis Society

Members of the Magis Society have expressed their commitment to St. Joseph's Prep through a very special and important form of financial support.

These donors have named the Prep as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.

Once you complete your estate plans, please fill out our member profile form to let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity by including you in the Magis Society.

Membership Benefits

Your membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others.

Benefits of membership in the Magis Society also include annual luncheons, invitations to special events and seminars and a subscription to our newsletter.

The most important benefit, however, you will receive from joining the Magis Society is the satisfaction derived from making a lasting contribution to our long-term prosperity.
